Usually when you are told that your child has Autism you think that, that is the only diagnosis your child will have, that will affect her/him the rest of their lives. At least that is what I thought. I was wrong!
One of many diagnosis that Sarah would have through out her life is a more recent one called Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Rheumatoid Arthritis (aka RA) is an autoimmune disease and can happen at a much earlier age than is typical for Osteoarthritis. In rheumatoid arthritis the body attack the synovial membrane and other connective tissue in the joint causing inflammation. This inflammation then leads to deterioration of the cartilage in the joint with the accompanying pain and difficulty in movement.
Essential Oils are good for many different health issues including rheumatoid arthritis.
Spark Naturals has these Essential Oils that are great for all types of arthritis including RA.
MELALEUCA (aka Tea Tree) - Helps relieve the pain and inflammation of arthritis.
LEMON - Helps reduce inflammation of joints
FRANKINCENSE - Helps relieve muscle aches and pain.
MYRRH - Calms the spirit and relaxes the body to speed up the healing process.
Here are 5 Essential Oils That Help Decrease Arthritis Pain:
LAVENDER - This oil is very beneficial to helping relieve pain because of it's anti-inflammatory properties.
MARJORAM - Historically marjoram has been used for muscle spasm, sprains, stiff joints, arthritis and bruises
EUCALYPTUS - This oil also has great anti-inflammatory properties.
ROSEMARY - This oil has many uses, but is also known to be analgesic (relieve pain) and anti-inflammatory for arthritis pain.
PEPPERMINT - Peppermint is also anti-inflammatory. It also has so many uses, especially for digestive issues, but also has been used for rheumatism and arthritis.
Do your own research on these oils. Do not use these oils on children and be sure and dilute the oils to what would benefit you.
